The group was originally known as “The Catch” in the 1990’s. The band included the three Kurtz brothers (Jeff, Mike, and Dave) with Scott Bylow on the drums. Members went in separate musical directions in 1995 and reconnected in 2018. The new act was dubbed “Same Mistake Twice” (SMT) – the same guys playing together, 25 years later.
SMT provides a professional show with quality musicianship and vocals. SMT is a perfect fit for nightclubs, country clubs, events, or private parties. Our show features upbeat tunes from the ‘80’s through today, including some toe tapping country tunes.
